• Can it be used outdoors?
Altea is painted with a water-resistant treatment and is therefore suitable for outdoor use. We recommend, however, not to expose it directly to atmospheric agents to ensure its longevity.

• Can it be used directly as a vase?
It is recommended to use it as a pot holder with related saucers. It is not watertight, so keep in mind that the water you water the plants with may eventually leak.

• What are its dimensions?
The maximum height is 49 cm. The planter box has a width and depth of 25 cm (small version) or 40 cm (big version). The internal height is 16 cm, so if you don't want the pots to protrude from the top, use pots with a maximum height of this measurement.

• Which pots can I use?
You can use square or rectangular vases or round vases. It is advisable that the height is between 12 and 16 cm.

• What characteristics does Altea have?
The planter box is removable from its base. The base is stable, suitable for supporting the weight of the vases.
You can complete your Altea with an oak finish wooden tray that transforms it into a storage table.

• Are there other versions of Altea?
The Altea family of pot holders is made up of the high, low, table, wall, railing versions and the round and square, small and large versions (use the search engine on our site, type "Altea" to see all the versions ).

• How is the installation done? Is assembly necessary?
No, no assembly is required. Simply place the box on the support base and make sure it is well inserted and stable

• What load can it support?
For the stability of the planter and to avoid deformations we recommend a maximum of 15 kg, however it is recommended not to load excessively from the sides and unevenly.

Altea is the line of designer planters for your balcony but also for indoors. This square version, with rounded corners, completes the collection for versatility of use and aesthetics. Thanks to the oak-plated wooden tray, it becomes a true multipurpose object. You can use it as a planter, of course. But also, indoors, as a coffee table with container or bedside table.

Our houseplants grow thanks to the care we give them every day. Giving them a container that enhances them and makes them even more protagonists, of our home or our garden, is only the last stage of this commitment. Embossed, it appears "material" to the touch (not smooth); powder coating offers greater resistance to scratches than other systems and guarantees greater durability and color retention over time.

Installation & safety

Place the box on the support base; place the tray on the box; make sure that the tray and box are well inserted and stable.

Maximum recommended load 15 kg; possible outdoor use in sheltered places, do not expose directly to atmospheric agents.

Maintenance

To proceed with the cleaning operations, use a soft cloth moistened with water or a product for cleaning windows. Do not use diluents and corrosive products, acids, steel wool or steel brushes. Dry with a microfiber cloth. The object is treated to be used also outdoors. However, for a longer life, it is advisable to position it in sheltered places and not to expose it directly to atmospheric agents.
