• Can it be used outdoors?
Altea is painted with a water-resistant treatment and is therefore suitable for outdoor use. However, it is recommended not to expose it directly to the elements to ensure its longevity.

• Can it be used directly as a pot?
It is recommended to use it as a planter holder with the corresponding saucers. It is not watertight, so keep in mind that water used to water the plants may eventually drip.

• What are its dimensions?
The maximum height is 49 cm. The planter box has a width and depth of 25 cm (small version) or 40 cm (large version). The internal height is 16 cm, so if you don’t want the pots to protrude from the top, use pots with a maximum height equal to this measurement.

• What pots can I use?
You can use square or rectangular pots or round pots. It is advisable that the height is between 12 and 16 cm.

• What are Altea’s features?
The planter box is removable from its base. The base is stable, suitable to support the weight of the pots, and has a small shelf where you can place other pots or gardening tools.
You can complete your Altea with a wooden tray in oak finish, suitable for placing other pots and playing with different levels or using it as a shelf for ornaments.

• Are there other versions of Altea?
The Altea planter family includes tall, low, table, wall, railing versions, as well as round and square, small and large versions (use the search engine on our website, type "Altea" to see all versions).

• How is installation done? Is assembly required?
No assembly is needed. Simply place the box on the support base and make sure it is properly inserted and stable.

• What load can it support?
For the stability of the planter and to avoid deformation, we recommend a maximum of 15 kg; however, it is advised not to overload it excessively from the sides or unevenly.

Altea is the line of designer planters for your balcony but also for indoors. This square version, with rounded corners, completes the collection for versatility of use and aesthetics. Thanks to the recycled wood tray, natural oak veneer, it becomes a real multipurpose object. You can use it as a planter, of course. But also, indoors, as a coffee table with container or bedside table.

Our houseplants grow thanks to the care we give them every day. Embossed, it appears "material" to the touch (not smooth); powder coating offers greater resistance to scratches than other systems and guarantees greater durability and color retention over time.

Installation & safety

Place the box on the support base; place the tray on the box; make sure that the tray and box are well inserted and stable.

Maximum recommended load 15 kg; possible outdoor use in sheltered places, do not expose directly to atmospheric agents.

Maintenance

To proceed with cleaning, use a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use thinners, corrosive products, acids, steel wool, or steel brushes. Dry with a microfiber cloth.
