Frequently Asked Questions about the Product
- Can it be used outdoors?
Altea is painted with a water resistant treatment and is therefore suitable for outdoor use. However, it is advisable not to expose it directly to atmospheric agents to ensure its longevity.

- Can it be used directly as a vase?
It is recommended to use it as a vase holder with relative saucers. It's not watertight, so keep in mind that the water you water your plants with could eventually leak.

- What are its dimensions?
The maximum height is 83 cm. The plant box is 60 cm wide by 25 cm deep. The internal height is 16.7 cm, so if you don't want the pots to hang over the top, use pots with a maximum height of this measurement. It is suitable to contain about 3 vases.

- Which pots can I use?
You can use square or rectangular pots or round pots with a maximum diameter of 23 cm. In the case of rectangular pots, you could use a single pot up to about 58 cm wide, with the short side at most 23 cm. Or you can use several vases with maximum measurements of about 18x18 cm (or 18 cm diameter). In this case, also considering the small space between one vase and another, you can insert up to 3 vases in your Altea. It is advisable that the height is between 12 and 16 cm.

- What characteristics does Altea have?
The plant pot box is removable from its base. The base is stable, suitable for supporting the weight of the pots and is equipped with a shelf on which you can place other pots or gardening tools.

- Are there other versions of Altea?
The Altea family of plant pots is made up of the high, low, table, wall, railing version and the round, small and large versions (use the search engine on our site, type "Altea" to see all the versions).

In this version with a high support, the planter becomes a real protagonist, indoors and outdoors. With the wooden tray, it finds a new style and also becomes a shelf and a table, to place your favorite ornaments or other vases and play with the different levels.

Planter dimensions: max width 60 cm, max height 83 cm, max depth 34 cm (box dimensions: 60 x 20 x 25 cm, internal box height: 16.7 cm). Tray dimensions: max width 31 cm, max height 2 cm, max depth 27 cm.

Embossed, it appears "material" to the touch (not smooth); powder coating offers greater resistance to scratches than other systems and guarantees greater durability and color retention over time.

Installation & safety
Place the box on the support base; place the tray on the box; make sure that the tray and box are well inserted and stable.
Suitable for holding 3 vases; maximum load allowed 10 kg (maximum 5 kg on the central shelf); possible outdoor use in sheltered places, do not expose directly to atmospheric agents.
Maintenance
To proceed with the cleaning operations, use a soft cloth moistened with water or a product for cleaning windows. Do not use diluents and corrosive products, acids, steel wool or steel brushes. Dry with a microfiber cloth. The object is treated to be used also outdoors. However, for a longer life, it is advisable to position it in sheltered places and not to expose it directly to atmospheric agents.
