Frequently Asked Questions about the Product
• What material is it made of?
The frame is made of powder-coated steel, and the shelves are oak veneer.

• What does it look like?
It is a shelving unit with a tubular frame and multiple shelves. It comes unassembled and is easy to put together.

• What are its dimensions?
The Lauro shelving unit is available in 8 versions: 3, 4, 5, and 6 shelves, each in narrow and wide variants. The maximum depth is always 29 cm, and the maximum heights are 81.5 cm, 116 cm, 149 cm, and 184 cm respectively. The available widths are 74 cm or 144 cm.
The distance between shelves is 32 cm (from shelf to shelf). The usable height from the floor to the start of the first shelf is 10.8 cm. Find all versions on our website.

• Is it a freestanding shelf or does it need to be fixed to the wall?
The structure is designed to be self-supporting. However, stability, especially in the taller versions and considering any loads placed on it, is not guaranteed. Therefore, wall mounting is recommended to prevent tipping. The shelves come with wall plugs to ensure secure fixing.

• Does it require assembly?
Yes, but it’s very simple and only requires a flathead screwdriver. The package includes 4 or 6 tubular supports (depending on the version) that rest on the floor; you screw them by hand to the first shelf, then screw the other tubular supports on top as spacers. Add the number of shelves according to the chosen version and finish by screwing a cap on the top shelf to hide the hole. Simple, right?

• What can I use it for?
You can use it as shelving and a bookcase indoors.

• Can it be used outdoors?
The Lisandra shelf is not treated for outdoor use.

• How much weight can it support?
We recommend a maximum load of 10 kg per shelf (narrow version) and 15 kg per shelf (wide version). The weight should always be evenly distributed.

The product requires assembly; maximum load 10 kg per shelf (narrow version), 15 kg per shelf (wide version), the weight must always be equally distributed.
Fix the shelf to the wall!
The stability of the structure is not guaranteed in any version, especially with applied loads. To avoid tipping, use the holes provided for the dowels and fix it to the wall.
Maintenance
To proceed with cleaning, use a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use thinners, corrosive products, acids, steel wool, or steel brushes. Dry with a microfiber cloth.
