Mikiya Kobayashi

About

Mikiya Kobayashi was born in 1981 and graduated from Musashino Art University in Tokyo in 2004. In 2006 he founded his own studio after an experience in an interior design company.

He designs furniture, everyday objects, electronics, and interiors. He works for Japanese and international companies, both as a designer and art director. He trains in a wide variety of creative fields, including fashion, yacht design, interior design, and furniture, working alongside architects and stylists in the Marche region, Rome, and Milan. His work has been exhibited at national and international events, including the Fuorisalone in Milan and the Vienna Design Week.

In 2010, he received several international awards, including the "If Gold Award" and the "Red Dot Design Award." Deeply rooted in a style carefully crafted with his clients, his designs have a remarkable ability to blend into their surroundings.
