Mikiya Kobayashi

Mikiya Kobayashi was born in 1981 and graduated from Musashino Art University in Tokyo in 2004. In 2006 he founded his own studio after an experience in an interior design company.

He deals with the design of furniture, everyday objects, electronic products and interiors. He works for Japanese and international companies, both as a designer and art director. He trains in the most varied creative fields, fashion, yacht design, interior, furniture, alongside architects and stylists, between the Marches, Rome and Milan. His works have been exhibited in national and international events including the "Fuorisalone" in Milan, "Vienna Design Week".

In 2010 he received some international awards such as "If Gold award" and "Red dot design award". Deeply rooted in a style thought through with his clients, his design has a great ability to blend into the surrounding space.
