About

Tommaso Salini, Ludovica Proietti, and Paolo Boccamino are Base/34, the resident design studio at the Ala/34 coworking space. Founded in Rome in 2018, it designs products and interiors, focusing on accessories and installations for a new concept of work: dynamic, nomadic, and light.

Its vocation is the search for a simple design, with a never serious flair that shines through in the environments that host it, camouflaging itself, like a surprise always ready to appear suddenly.

It investigates matter and its adherence to design, new technologies and new low-impact and recyclable materials.
